| hello and how y'all doin'? it's been a while since my last post. just thought id drop in and shout y'all a holler. a lot has been happening. got to go back home mid july and go to the 180 retreat which was awesome. manna anyone? holllerrr!! and also...i finally got a full time job. today was my first day but due to illness...they sent me home early. my schedule is going to be pretty wild...but im excited for the position. the restaurant i work at is called perilla. its a nice little restaurant and i actually got a job working in the pastry kitchen and we're in the process of changing the menu up so that is pretty cool. and also...its pretty cool cause i work for chef harold dieterle. he's a real chill and down to earth guy and im sure some of you know him from top chef. but yeah...he's pretty funny too. so its a nice kitchen to work in for suure. but yeah...thats about it i think...of course just some pictures from the retreat and what not. hope all is well everyone. =) take care.

| hello and how y'all doin'? i hope all is well with everyone. i am now
back in the east coast. i know sad. home was awesome! i did nothing
strenuous for three weeks! it was sweeeet! got to see friends, hang
out with my folks, do a little skateboarding...it was nice. i got to
travel to chicago and columbus to see some good people and also witness
mattwertz and jonmclaughlin at the house of blues. it was tyyyte for
sure! holler! but yeah...it was a time well spent. i definitely
needed it. but i am now back in the city of new york. i plan to stay
out here for a year or so and work in a new york city kitchen and get
some experience. but that has been at a slight halt because i am
jobless. so thats no fun. only the good Lord can find me a good job.
=) its pretty nerve wracking...being done with school and looking for
a good job and entering the "real world"...haha! i cant believe it.
we're not getting any younger huh? man...i'm not really good with this
online blogging stuff...but yeah...hope everyone is well. congrats to
the class of 07. and for those who are finishing up school...finish
hard! except for you quarter system people... ;) y'all got some time

they gave me the honor of letting me be one of her uncles...i'm madd stoked! i just have to make sure i feed her when she gets older. it shouldnt be too bad. =) but yeah...thats my trip in a nutshell...take care everyone and good night.

whassup and how y'all doin'? hope all is well with you guys. i am happy to say that i am done with culinary school. i graduated on tuesday and it feels great. six months of waking up early and cooking my life away. it was a great road taken no doubt. but man am i glad to be done. hah! =) it's been a long road and i am happy to say that i am now home. i am currently in cincinnati and it feels great. i havent been on midwest soil in six months. it felt good to see the cincinnati airport, ohio lisence plates, i-71, a gas station, grass, suburbian lights...i unfortunately came home to an empty house because my folks are in korea. but they'll be back in a week. so its good. imma' spend my first week in the midwest travelling. i came home and unwinded a little bit and i got to drive my car. man...something a manual transmission automobile...feels niiice. =) ohio how i've missed ya'. for sure.
but yeah...i'll be heading out around town and what not. hopefully i'll be able to see some of you guys. ill be in chicago for the weekend and then travelling around ohio. so hopefully we can all work something out. take care everyone and here's a few pictures from the past week.

| hello hello everyone...it has been a while. it is almost the middle of march and boy has time flied. just a quick update. new york has been alright. the city has its perks but its been a tough learning experience as well. but its been good and alright. i still feel like im adapting. but there's been lots of good people that ive been meeting. so that has been niiice. lots of smooth operating gentlemen and fly ladies. so its been good. as for school. im in my last stretch of the program. level six. holler! Lord willing...ill graduate april tenth. hopefully everything works out. =) and oh...it is that time of year again. time to whip out the dancing shoes...its march madness! i dont know why but im excited for it. everyone fill out your brackets and join in on the fun. if you guys want to play...join my pool on facebook. its all just for fun and bragging rights. =D but yeah...i hope y'all have been doing well. when school is done..i plan to come back to the midwest to visit. i dont know if im going to stay out here in new york or come back to the midwest area. im still praying about it. if you guys can keep me in your prayers in my decision making. it'd be greatly appreciated. but for sure im going to be back for a couple weeks. but as usual...here are some pictures of whats been happening since the last time i posted. hope all has been well for you guys. take care and smile. holler!
